Altrincham centre has moved to a new astro, floodlit venue
Our Altrincham centre has moved. We have left the grass pitch at Manor Farm and now train at a new astroturf, floodlit venue at Blessed Thomas Holford Catholic College, WA15 8HT.
As the autumn and winter months arrive, a grass pitch can quickly become heavy and unpredictable. The astroturf gives our players a consistent surface to train on week after week, and the floodlights keep our Friday sessions well lit all the way through.
Our Friday schedule covers both our Individual Performance Programme and our Performance Academy programme. The Individual Performance Programme runs all evening, while the Performance Academy is split into two groups: our Foundation group trains from 5:30pm to 6:30pm and our Development group follows from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
The new venue also gives us room to grow. Because the pitch is astroturf and floodlit, we are no longer limited by daylight or ground conditions, and we plan to expand our Altrincham opening hours so more players can train with us. We will share the new days and times as soon as they are confirmed.
