Yes. Calculated Performance supports beginners, grassroots, school, and academy players. The benefit of individual coaching is that difficulty, tempo, and challenge can be adjusted to each player.
Not for our Individual Performance Programme. The cost of running a 1:1 service is high, so we don’t offer free sessions. Instead, we provide an Introductory Session for £25.00, so players can experience the environment before committing. Our Performance Academy Programme does offer a free introductory session for players interested in small-group training.
You can contact us our Head Office by emailing membership@calculatedperformance.co.uk. Notice periods apply for terminations.

No; we offer individual training, on our Individual Performance Programme, and small group training, in our Performance Academy Programme. Our Individual Performance Programme is the core of our model because it delivers the highest level of technical detail, repetition, and individual feedback.
Yes. Individual football training builds good habits early and helps beginners get started within club football with more confidence.
Yes. Academy and advanced players benefit from higher repetition, technical detail, position-specific work, and game scenario training that’s difficult to achieve in team sessions.
It depends on the quality and purpose of the extra session. One focused individual session each week often has more developmental value than another team session because it sharpens first touch, scanning, receiving, decision-making, and confidence on the ball - areas that are hard to isolate in team training.
A 1:1 environment is typically ideal for shy or anxious players. There’s no audience, no team hierarchy, and no comparison amongst peers. Our coaches will build trust quickly and give players small wins that grow confidence and enjoyment.
Most players join between 7–14, although younger and older players can be suitable depending on maturity and interest.
Most parents notice progress within 6–12 weeks with weekly attendance and good application at club football. Football development is a journey, so players typically train for 12–18 months to build depth and consistency.
Improved ball control, first touch, balance, receiving shapes, scanning, decision-making, and confidence in matches. Progress tends to appear as more time on the ball and fewer rushed actions. Pathway outcomes (academies, trials, etc.) depend on many factors and are never guaranteed.
Through Individual Development Plans, a structured technical curriculum, and ongoing coach assessment. The clearest indicator is the transfer into team football: better decisions, more time on the ball, better execution, and greater confidence in matches.
No. Calculated Performance builds technical and physical attributes that academies value.
Matches test what a player already has. Training builds what they don’t yet have.
Calculated Performance increases readiness and performance at club level where scouts make decisions. We never promise trials or contracts.
It depends on the environment. Calculated Performance isn’t about constant instruction or over-analysis. Players are given meaningful repetitions, clear technical detail, and space to work things out for themselves. This delivery model is important because it promotes self-application in matches, where coaches aren’t present to guide every action. The aim is confident, intelligent footballers who can solve problems on the pitch.
In most cases, it is a 1:1 service delivered by specialist coaches on dedicated facilities with a structured teaching system. Grassroots programs spread costs across a whole team and often benefit from sponsorships for equipment and kits, whereas private coaching focuses all coaching time and resources on a single player.
Often more so. Many players join for confidence, coordination, and enjoyment. The most common improvements are seen in grassroots and school football, where better technique and confidence make the biggest difference.
