Callum Ronald Promoted to Head Coach at Liverpool Anfield

October 7, 2026

Callum Ronald is the new Head Coach at our Liverpool Anfield centre. He joined Calculated Performance in July 2026 and has spent the months since working closely with Area Director, Tom King. We are delighted to hand him the role.

‍

Callum's Experience:

Callum arrives in the role with experience that few coaches at his stage can match. As a player, he represented Brighton and Hove Albion's futsal team and spent time in the academy's development centre.

His coaching career began close to home. He worked at Burnley Football Club in the pre-academy and youth development phase, and at the Liverpool International Academy with players of all ages and abilities.

From there he went abroad. In the United States he took charge of two high-level girls' teams, at U14 and U16, who competed nationally. In the UAE he was lead coach at one of his club's sites and ran its elite U15 team.

Alongside his work with us, Callum is assistant manager of the U21s at Huddersfield Town Women.

‍

Why Calculated Performance:

Callum first came across us a couple of years ago, through our sessions on the Coaches' Voice app.

"I enjoyed seeing the quality of coaching and the level of detail behind each session, and I have always wanted to be a part of the organisation and contribute to its reputation."

He also saw a chance to put what he learned overseas to use.

"To share my experiences as a head coach in two different countries, not only with the players but with the company, and to help the company grow, was an opportunity I was excited about."

What this means for Liverpool Anfield:

Players and parents at Anfield will see Callum leading sessions and setting the standard for the centre week to week. He will continue to work alongside Tom, who oversees our Merseyside centres as Area Director.

His experience spans pre-academy players, elite youth teams and the women's game, in England, the United States and the UAE. Every player who walks into the Anfield centre gets the benefit of that.

Congratulations, Callum. We are looking forward to seeing where you take the centre next.

If you would like your child to train with Callum and the team at Liverpool Anfield, get in touch with us to book a session.
