BEN’S STORY

Ben first came to us as an excitable young footballer who had a great passion for the game, so much so that it was difficult to ever get him to leave the pitch! Ben would spend time, once the session had finished, doing extra work to improve himself. His character and dedication has cemented his position in Manchester City's Academy where he has travelled to play against some of England and Europe’s biggest clubs.

Here’s what Ben's father has to say about Calculated Performance -

“Adam and Jack (Calculated Performance founders) were actually Ben’s first-ever coaches when he was just 4 years old and attended a First Kicks introduction to football session. From giving him a great first experience of football, they’ve been a huge part of his footballing journey through grassroots and now into a professional club academy. Along with their team of fantastic coaches, they have been great in supporting Ben’s ongoing development with 1:1 sessions through their Individual Performance Programme. About 12 months ago they identified how a growth spurt had affected how Ben was striking the ball and the coaches worked specifically with him to help him re-find his touch. We continue to work with Calculated Performance because of their high-quality sessions, their attention to detail, and most of all because Ben loves it.”

“Ben's improvement technically & physically has been really impressive over the past 3 years. Ben has also matured mentally which is another key attribute to his performance. I was responsible for delivering some of Ben's first sessions, and since then he has been working with our team of expert coaches. I am proud of the positive environment we have been able to provide together for Ben. Ben has been really consistent with his training and this has definitely helped with his development. We look forward to working closely with him as he progresses through his football journey!"
