The initial part of the session is dedicated to getting as many touches on the ball as possible, through juggling and ball mastery exercises. Ball mastery for us is defined as the ability to manipulate the ball with the inside, outside and sole of the foot, also being able to replicate this with both feet.
We understand the demands of the modern game, and just being technically good is not enough. This is why we value the physical development of each member. Through plyometric style exercises we aim to develop the players coordination, agility, power and speed.
Technical development will make up the majority of your session. During this time your coach will help develop you across the core technical attributes needed to be a successful player; passing, receiving, skills and turns.
To end the session your coach will design a practice that you can expect to see in a match. This will be tailored to your position and will bring all the lessons learnt within the session into a game-realistic scenario. Helping you understand how to take your training into your matches.
