Juggling Challenges

Description

This is a great activation to get plenty of touches within the first 5 minutes of the session. Juggling is a brilliant exercise to warm up all parts of the body & feet.

For each challenge the player should aim to do as many juggles as possible, the challenges are:

  • Freestyle (any part of the body)
  • Inside the foot, then top of the foot
  • Inside the foot, then top of the foot, then outside of the foot
  • Inside the foot, then outside of the foot

You should ask the player to start with their stronger foot and progress onto their developing foot.

Key Coaching Points

  • Make sure the ball is at a nice height in between each juggle, a good height would be around head height.
