Ball Carrying [PRBCA]

Description

The athlete plays a bounce pass with the coach before opening out to receive the ball. Taking the first touch pass the pole, the athlete will play a wall pass before taking the ball back again to go around the second pole. The player then carries the ball back to the starting point to repeat the rep.

Key Coaching Points

Close control - Take small steps with the ball to keep it close when working in tight spaces. Be comfortable using different parts of the foot.

First touch - Direct the ball with the hips and shoulders facing where you want it.

Head placement - Chest over the ball, head in a position to see ahead.
